Default Corrupt PDF File from an HPDeskjet6500A Scan

Wondering if anyone else is having this issue:

I have an HP Deskjet 6500A set up on a WIFI network and I have scanned a document to a PDF file to my computer. I can open up the document using Adobe Acrobat without issue but when I try to open up the document on Bluebeam Revu v8 I get a message saying that the file is corrupt. Does anyone know if this is an HP issue or a Bluebeam issue?

    Thanks,

    Dave

    UPDATE:

I just upgraded to Bluebeam Revu v9 and everything works fine now. Not sure what the problem was but the upgrade fixed it.

    Thanks

    Hi droeyourhero,

A while ago we began seeing a lot of files (almost all from HP Scanners) with errors in the file. The PDF files seem to be missing the correct header (in the PDF code). Adobe ignores this error and opens the file. Bluebeam PDF Revu doesn't ignore the error, because it needs to read the header. In Bluebeam PDF Revu 9, we built in some error correction to fix the issue and open these scanned PDF files.
