First off - I will say I love Bluebeam. Besides AutoCAD and Outlook, it is my 3rd most used program. But I just want to say that they need to get moving on development of the software or they may get left behind. The collaboration features in Studio are cool, but it is just way too klunky an interface to be used regularly. It needs a proper front end that is easy to log in and navigate.
Look at PlanGrid, Fieldwire, RoundhousePM and other collaboration solutions. There is absolutely no reason that BB is not the leader of that pack. Turn Studio into something that competes with these softwares - or reach out to them and work with them directly to build Bluebeam collaboration into their software.
Anyway, what generated all of this was this new product I learned of today. PaperLight Hardware & Software collaboration solutIon: https://www.rolloutaec.com/PaperLight
(check out this video and tell me you aren't salivating and want to use this with Bluebeam).
Come on guys - you need to get off the yearly development cycle and be rolling out new features at least quarterly. A year is too long to wait.
