ipad Pro and Apple Pencil

will there be a new version for ipad pro that doesnt appear to be a ported version for regular ipads.
the version seems so large and klunky. would expect to be more refined for the larger screens. the pencil is not nearly as responsive as most other programs and very hard to write hand notes with.
